Q. Can I have input into how our wedding is videotaped? A. Yes. We encourage our clients to assist us in planning your wedding day video. Every wedding video that we do is unique to that client. Your input during the planning process will assist us in shooting and editing your very special day. Q. Can we have input into the final editing process? A. When we get together to go over your wedding plans, we will ask you questions about how you would like your final product with the use of a wedding planner. As far as the actual editing of your wedding day, we make all of those decisions. There are many reasons for this. One of the main reasons is editing your wedding can take over 40 hours. We edit at all times of the day or night. If we had to wait until the both of us could schedule time to edit, it could tie up the studio and computers for weeks or months. We would also have to charge you our normal editing rate of $125 per hour. As you can imagine, that would significantly increase your final budget. Q. What about raw footage? A. When editing your videotape, we are very careful not to leave out any important parts of your wedding day. Editing is not an exact science. Although we take the utmost care to assure that all of the important events are edited into your final video, some brides like to look at everything that took place on their wedding day.
